Tim Barnett

A former member of parliament, Tim is also the former CEO of FinCap, responsible for setting up, managing, promoting and developing the Crown entity from first inception. He is currently Chief of Staff for the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Attorney General, Northern Territory, Australia.

Darsun Naran

Darsun is a highly experienced professional services Director with over 15 years’ experience with the big four consulting firms including PwC and KPMG. Recognised as a transformation specialist, he is highly skilled in corporate turnaround, cash flow management, debt and operational restructuring, cash and working capital management and merger and acquisitions. Darsun holds an MBA from the University of Sydney and memberships with various professional bodies including the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association and the Australian Turnaround Management Association. Darsun has won the Turnaround of the Year Award from the Australian Turnaround Management Association for his work supporting small to medium sized businesses to stabilise, uplift performance and improve / create enterprise value.

Alex Howieson

Alex’s corporate career spans a variety of industries including aviation, transport, banking and media in an executive capacity that has included reporting to various boards. Relocating from Australia to New Zealand in 2014, Alex has performed senior and leadership roles at Air New Zealand, Fletcher Building, Fonterra, Kiwibank and most recently Sky NZ. Alex currently serves on the NZ Water Polo Board.

Sasha Lockley

Sasha’s personal mission is to re-write the playbook of lending and debt and to bring the humanity back in to financial services. She is a qualified accountant with a Masters in Advanced Leadership who has held executive and senior positions in financial services, local government, law enforcement and consulting firms together with a number of Board positions in the not for profit and social services sectors. She is also an Edmund Hillary Fellow, focussed on financial system change and social impact. She is the co-founder and CEO of Money Sweetspot.

Monique Pearson

With a career spanning over 20 years, Monique has led organisational strategy, growth, partnerships, projects, operations and business development in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Her work experience includes senior leadership roles in two of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms, and GM of a national financial advisory firm based in Tāmaki Makaurau. She has chaired The Mind Lab and Fantail Network Advisory Boards and is an Honorary Member of the New Zealand Bar Association.

Judy Whiteman

A director, facilitator, mentor/coach and consultant in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, Judy has many years experience in senior management and executive positions in the global financial services industry, in New Zealand and abroad. She has been a director (executive and non-executive) on various boards, and is currently an Independent Director, Bank of India (New Zealand) Ltd and Trustee of NZ Housing Foundation, Whanau Mercy Ministries and Director & Chair of Carmel College Auckland Ltd. Judy is a Chartered Member Institute of Directors New Zealand, a Fellow Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
